Working Principle

This picosecond laser system delivers ultra-short pulses to target unwanted tattoo ink and pigmented lesions, supporting treatment of acne scars, fine lines and overall skin revitalisation. Laser energy is selectively absorbed by melanin and tattoo pigment within the skin, breaking the pigment into micro-particles that the body’s natural processes can clear. Selective absorption by the melanin chromophore supports treatment of both superficial and deep pigmentation using low fluence values, designed to help maintain patient comfort during the session.

532nm wavelength (visible green): targets freckles, light-coloured tattoos (eyebrow, eyeliner, lip-line), superficial pigmentation and red, brown or pink telangiectasia.

1064nm wavelength (near-infrared): targets freckles, yellow-brown spots, eyebrow / eyeliner / lip-line tattoos, birthmarks including nevus of Ota, age spots and darker nevus.
