The 980nm + 1470nm dual-wavelength diode laser delivers continuous and pulsed energy through fiber-optic transmission, enabling operators to address multiple soft-tissue indications in one platform. The 980nm wavelength is preferentially absorbed by oxyhaemoglobin in vascular tissue, while the 1470nm wavelength is preferentially absorbed by water and lipid. This combined absorption profile supports vascular lesion care, endovenous vein treatment, periungual (nail) fungal management, medical lipoplasty and selected ENT soft-tissue procedures.

The 980nm wavelength is preferentially absorbed by oxyhaemoglobin in target vessels. Targeted vessels absorb the laser energy, leading to localised coagulation followed by gradual reabsorption of the treated tissue. The procedure is commonly used for facial telangiectasia, small vascular lesions and superficial leg veins.
Low-level 980nm exposure supports the tissue’s natural photobiostimulation response. Sessions may help support localised inflammation management and pain-management protocols within a physiotherapy workflow. The setting is non-invasive and intended for use by licensed practitioners.
The 980nm wavelength passes through the nail plate to reach the affected nail bed. Focused energy creates controlled thermal effects intended to suppress fungal activity in the treated area. A course of treatments is normally required to support healthy nail regrowth.
980nm + 1470nm energy is delivered into the subcutaneous fat layer through fine fiber-optic delivery. The combined photothermal effect supports the breakdown of adipose tissue, which is then removed by suction-assisted lipoplasty or naturally processed by the body’s metabolic pathways. The 980nm and 1470nm wavelengths are absorbed in soft tissue to produce controlled cutting, coagulation or vaporisation effects. This supports ENT soft-tissue procedures such as tonsillectomy and turbinate reduction in an outpatient setting.
