Function
The 808nm laser penetrates the epidermis to reach the deep hair-follicle tissue. With specially set pulse durations, it delivers enough heat to damage the target follicle while leaving the surrounding tissue largely unaffected.
Adequate energy density ensures sufficient energy output to damage the target tissue within the appropriate time, while proper skin-protection measures keep the epidermis largely unaffected, helping ensure treatment safety.
After absorbing the laser energy, the hair follicle and its growth stem cells are heated, losing their growth activity to achieve long-term hair reduction.
